Building Bridges Across Generations

Empowering Black Youth Through Cultural Connection

Black Youths Seniors Connect (BYSC) is a Calgary-based organization founded with a heartfelt commitment to bridging the generational gap between Black youth and seniors. Our primary focus is fostering meaningful connections that empower Black youth through cultural education and mentorship, while honoring the wisdom and experiences of our seniors. Through collaborative programs like Lessons on Culture and Identity for Black Youths: Learned from the Experienced, we create opportunities for youth to explore their heritage, build confidence, and grow into leaders who embrace their identities with pride.

Located at Home Tuition, 4207 80th Avenue NE, Calgary, we serve as a hub for cultural learning, intergenerational dialogue, and empowerment. BYSC believes that through the shared narratives of our elders and the enthusiasm of our youth, we can strengthen community bonds and inspire future generations.
